We propose a Security Council made up of representatives from these 7 towns: Dead Drunk Saloon, Frisco, Abhor Evil, Big Bang, Seven Chevron City, THE WEST, and Western Eagle. Requirements would be as follows: (1) Absolutely no dueling any player from any union town, to be enforced by a strict code of discipline. First violation - Offending player must carry triple the dollar amount they won from the victim, remove all dueling gear, and submit to knockout by the player they attacked. That way the player wrongly attacked will be guaranteed to recoup their cash. Second offense - player will be booted and may not rejoin their town for 7 days. Third offense - permanent banishment from the union. Three strikes and you're out for good. (2) Free trade amongst all union players. Union towns must hold at least three open spots for trade partners so they can invite players from union towns for shopping trips. All union towns must post and update their shop items for browsing. (3) Duelers and Soldiers from union towns must take part in sanctioned actions against the union's enemies. Of course, other character classes may join in if they want to get in on the action. This will give the GUN great power to recruit new allies, force NAP's, or "persuade" players to abandon enemy towns. The GUN security council will determine the Rules of Engagement. (4) All union towns must display the letters GUN after their town name. Example: Dead Drunk Saloon - GUN. That way allies and enemies alike will know who they're dealing with. Of course, all these rules are subject to change if the Security Council decides to make amendments. This is just a starting point in the negotiations. If created, the GUN would require lots of planning and cooperation between the union towns. Each town would empower a representative to speak for the town. Any other towns that wish to join would do so as secondary allies, with only indirect representation. For instance, Abhor Evil is also allied with Girls Rule. If Girls Rule wishes to join, they communicate their input through the representative from Abhor Evil. This is necessary so that the Security Council size remains small and manageable. With a membership of 7, all issues may be settled with a simple majority vote, with no ties possible. All GUN towns would have a contact person who would receive a telegram alerting them to any group action sanctioned by the GUN Security Council. That way everyone is on the same page when it comes to the big fights. Other than that, each union town would be free to duel who they want, recruit who they want, and ally with who they want. Alliances, NAPs, or Trade Agreements with towns who do not want to join the GUN would be permitted. Please discuss this concept with your town members and determine if your town would like to be a part of the GUN. We'd like to see all 7 towns agree so we can move forward right away. If your town agrees, please reply back to me with the name of the player who will represent your town. NOTE: The town representative should at least be a Town Counselor or Founder, so that they will have the rights to make changes to front pages and forums, and also invite players.
