Iceni


“Iron, conquest, pride.”

An Iron Age tribe of southern Britain, the Iceni are a proud and fierce people. They inhabit the flatlands, marshes and fens that border the North Sea, south of the Wash. They are practiced raiders, and frequently engage in battle with their tribal neighbours, the Coritani and Atrebates.

The Iceni principally make use of infantry when at war. Equipped with large oval or sub-rectangular shields and either a sword or spear, their main distinction from the Celtic tribes of the continent is the practice of painting or tattooing their skin, combined with a greater use of slings in battle. Although light cavalry are used, the Iceni and other British tribes are famed for their highly manoeuvrable war-chariots. After harrying the enemy with javelins, warriors dismount and engage in a fashion similar to the Homeric champions.

Far from simple barbarians, the Iceni have established a capital, known as Venta Icenorum, as well as large religious centres. Although based on agriculture, their economy is sophisticated – they even mint their own coins. Their culture, craft and wealth are illustrated in the form of fantastic gold torques and other jewellery worn by their nobles.

As a playable faction, The Iceni are brave and warlike; invoking the goddess Andraste as they charge into battle drives them to even greater feats of valour. Their expertise with iron makes the resource a particularly effective form of income for the tribe, as does their skill at raiding and looting. And as a warrior society, the happiness of the people increases with every fresh declaration of war.

The Iceni have the potential to dominate the Iron Age tribes of Britain. Beyond their shores lie Celtic Gaul and Iberia… can the Iceni unite them all under their banner?

còn 4 phe nữa dự là 1 trong 3 anh Gaul, German, Tharce chiếm 1 slot
Egypt 1 slot
SE hoặc Parthia 1 slot
còn 1 slot chưa dám chắc có khi nó cho Sparta cũng nên

 

Chỉ sợ Sparta cho làm DLC sau này thôi, chưa chắc đã có ngay trong bản gốc đầu

Nhìn Britain thiết kế đẹp phết, chất hoang dại, dũng mãnh, nhưng phải set cấu hình max nhìn mới đô con, đẹp chi tiết như vậy, máy yếu chắc lê lết, lại phải nâng cấp thôi

 

công nhận là bọn Iceni bản này làm đô con thật chả bù dáng lính trước giờ toàn gầy gầy kể cả Shogun 2

Một dân tộc đa số toàn chiến binh thì nếu không có chiến tranh thì thất nghiệp cả lũ à Mà nhiều người thất nghiệp thì ...

Đùa chứ bản này mà ban đầu chỉ có 8 factions playable chắc là không đủ, hy vọng CA cho unlock các phe khác sau Campaign như trong Rome 1.

Còn 4 slots dự là Seleucid, Egypt, Gaul với Parthia.

Mà Seleucid với Egypt toàn là Alexander's successor kingdoms, không biết quân đội của họ đặc toàn chất Greek hay được thêm mấy đơn vị bản địa bổ trợ nhỉ

Thời nào rồi mà còn cho unlock faction hả bạn

 

8 playable ban đầu + 1 đống DLC factions Gauls, Iberia, Germanic, Pontus, Egypt, Greek ...

 

Shogun 2 có 3 DLC Clan pack, bản mở rộng FOTS có 4 Faction pack, vị chi là 7

Rome II đồ sộ hơn nhiều phải 10 là ít

 

chơi Rome mình chỉ thích mỗi Seleucid, chỉ cần có thằng này trong playable faction gốc là được rồi, mấy thằng khác không quan tâm

 

Dự là bản LE hay Special sẽ ưu đãi nhiều faction hơn bản Standard

 

tớ lại thích Sarmatian hay Scythia. Nhưng mà chắc phải đợi DLC

 

Nhắc Sarmatian lại nhớ cái phim King Arthur của Disney cho Arthur với Knights of the Round là Sarmatians rider
Total War làm đúng lịch sử chắc ko có đâu nhỉ, mà king arthur cũng có 1 cái historical battle trong mediaval 2 rồi :(

 

Hy vọng Rome 2 không chơi dơ : bản pre-order cho 1 vài clan đặc biệt, như Shogun 2 có Hattori Clan

 

Không dơ là thế nào

Sparta/Carthage + hats = preorder bonus

 

sao mình đọc bài nào bảo là sẽ để playable đến mười mấy factions, ko chơi chiêu Factions DLC cơ mà, hay là ngủ mê mơ hão nhỉ
