Indeed. I think even the average student could have gotten a 6 or 7. Not to mention it is a MCQ test with no penalty for guessing/ wrong answer.
Dont make him feel bad. I got only about 7 when I took the 2009 exam On a completely irrelevant topic, my ex gf got 925 at TOEIC Lol, I'm nervous to compel myself for better accomplishment
Erm, not to boast but my ex got freaking 2360 for SAT. She lived in the US during her childhood though, gone back to Swarthmore college. ;_;
Well, cus' u r not gonna take the same test I'm not confident in triumping some normal test I can recall the last norm test I took, 75/150 Guess what, I learn some twisted Eng, not the norm one
Guess what? I got 9.5 (all 3 mistakes@5 pronunciation qns lol) and all I did for the last 9 months was doing some casual exercises at school (just did it last month, got in Acad of Diplomacy). Speaking of which, my ex's father is in some form of Diplomacy too so I hope I can see her soon
I think he's right. It's the high time I seriously studied grammar and improved English. My skill is too bad and not acceptable.
Sorry I was mistaken for calculation so my score is 6,26 for all exams (2011,2012,2013), not 5.0 because I mistook that there are 100 questions but in fact each exam just has 80 ones. Anyway, it doesn't change anything.. My Eng skill is still terrible and I seriously need to improve it.
International Relationship. Or at least it's Facebook's translation of 'Quan hệ quốc tế'. I had no intention of learning it though, was aiming for Computer Science. But you know, parents.
I want to go pro-gaming, but my parents wouldn't support it. It's better not having a dream than having one that can never come true, it's like not loving anybody to loving one knowing it's all futile.
It doesn't mean you won't be able to get your favourite job in the future as a sub job, a second job. Your parents can prevent you from getting it now, but the preventation will be no longer effective when you have a job, independent on finace. You will still persue your dream. And what about me? I have no dream, I don't know what I'm living for? No passion, no love, nothing.
Honestly I dunno which major is suitable for me. Now I have passion in languages, but you saw that. Try as I might, I couldn't get more than 6.25 for English exams. Only when I'm sucessful will I be optimistic
I 'm seldom defeated on the battle field. But each time I lose the battle, it's really a crushing defeat. I know I said it before many times so tonight I'm gonna tell you my most inglorious defeat. It's know it's harder to imagine when I depict what happened without pictures and battle map. Pardon me for this irrational thing. Come back to our topic, I have to emphasize it as a disaster of military strategy like battle of Cannae 216 BC. I was very eager when my opponent picked Greek faction because it's known as the faction that has the worst cavalry. Meanwhile I'm a talent cavalry commander. Don't think of me smug. I say that because I believe in my cavalry micro skill and I think it doesn't need to be approved. I picked Roman faction(exactly Julii house) in this destiny battle. As expected, he(my opponent) use a lot of hoplite units to hold his battle line as a backbone of whole formation. However, it means that there're only a bit of week cavalry units and as a result, no sooner had I attacked his right flank his cavalry units routed. He tried to protect his flank and archer units from my cavalry troops hopelessly due to the heavy and slow moving of infantry units. Only after less than 5 min all his cavalry and missile units had been running away. I thought about a victory at this moment. His army was surrounded by my troops.Under" the arrow and javalin rain" from my archer and legionary units, all his Armour hoplite and central army was destroyed. He intended to give up but he suddenly arranged his right flank to make a square formation with the most excellent remained units-Spartan hoplite so as not to be striked behind and block my troops from going forward by the wall spear. I was so arrogent and careless that I wasn't aware of his trap for me. Try as I might, I couldn't break his army. Whereas my army got a seriously casualty. Only when I even had to use archer troops to fight hand to hand did I realised that my defeat was comming. At the end of battle I didn't only lose to break his formation but also blew my victory. My stronger army was crushed by his final men.
