ANAHEIM, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. today announced plans for the second expansion to World of Warcraft®, its award-winning massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). Unveiled at the company’s BlizzCon™ gaming festival before an audience of more than 8,000 gamers, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King™ will open the forbidding wasteland of Northrend to exploration by the hardiest adventurers. New levels of power, challenging new dungeons and encounters, an exciting new character profession, and the game’s first hero class are just some of the new features awaiting players in Wrath of the Lich King.

“This expansion will add some of the most infamous characters and settings from the Warcraft® universe to World of Warcraft,” said Mike Morhaime, president and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment®. “In addition to new story content, Wrath of the Lich King will introduce a number of features specifically requested by players over the past couple of years. We’re looking forward to sharing further details with everyone as development progresses.”

Players last visited Northrend in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne™, when Arthas Menethil fused with the spirit of Ner’zhul to become the Lich King, one of the most powerful beings in the Warcraft universe. He now broods atop the Frozen Throne deep in Icecrown Citadel, clutching the rune blade Frostmourne and marshaling the undead armies of the Scourge. In Wrath of the Lich King, the forces of the Alliance and the Horde will venture into battle against the Scourge amid Northrend’s howling winds and fields of jagged ice.

Building on the foundation established in World of Warcraft and The Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King will add a rich variety of content to an already massive game. New features coming with the game’s second expansion include:

* Death Knight Hero Class: Create a high-level Death Knight character -- the game’s first hero class -- once certain challenges have been met.
* Increased Level Cap: Advance to level 80 and gain potent new talents and abilities along the way.
* Northrend: Explore the harsh new continent of Northrend, packed with new zones, quests, dungeons, monsters, and items -- and do battle with the undead armies of the Lich King.
* “Inscription” Profession: Learn this exciting new profession and gain unique ways to permanently enhance spells and abilities in the game.
* Siege Weapons and Destructible Buildings: Take the battle to another level with new player-vs.-player game mechanics and new battlefields to wage war on.
* New Character Customization: Change how characters look and express themselves, with different hairstyles and dance animations.

 

Vậy đây là cái dự án bì mặt mà Bizz đang phát triển :( Thất vọng quá !!! tưởng là Diablo III chứ

 

Chỉ có dân chơi WOW lâu năm mới biết cái vụ Hero class này (biết cách đây 2 năm), cái này không phải là dự án gì bí mật như bạn nói

Blizzard có 3 đầu 6 tay, siêu cấp vô địch thì cũng không thể có chuyện vừa âm thầm phát triển Starcraft II, Wrath of the Lich King và Diablo III cho ra một lèo như vậy

Fan của Blizzard thì anh em mình cứ gậm nhấm, liếm láp từ từ vậy.Mong quá thất vọng cũng nhiều thôi

 

Nếu thía thì thất vọng thật,cứ tưởng cho ra game gì mới chứ lại típ tục phát triển các game cũ.....Diablo 3 là cái mong chờ nhất thì lại chưa thấy ló mặt,chắc ko có quá

 

Cái DIablo III từng có ng` của bizz nói bóng gió là có, chỉ điều thời gian thì ko biết thôi !!

Vỡ mộng rồi. Mình cũng nghĩ là Diablo III. Thế sao mấy web VN nói là ko phải WOW nhỉ

 

Blizzard nó mà ra game ào ạt mới đáng thất vọng , tất cả những game mà nó sản suất ra đều là những game đỉnh trên thế giới cả
mà dĩ nhiên đã là game đỉnh thì phải lâu rồi ^^

 

Còn tùy vào mức độ hot của game đó thui

 

Đỉnh thì đỉnh !! nhưng mỗi game ém đến gần chục năm :( nản lòng chiến sĩ

 

Ặc bác Gamepro nói rõ là ko phải là dự án bí mật mà Blizzard đang phát triển mà. Cho nên chưa hết hi vọng vào Diablo III đâu. Hôm trước có đọc một bài phỏng vấn thằng #(&$&%& gì đó của Blizzard, nó nói hiện nay nhân lực chính phát triển game là 150 thằng trong đó ... cho ... ; ... cho ... ; cuối cùng vẫn còn lại tầm 60 đến 70 thằng cho dự án bí mật của Blizzard. Yên tâm là công ty lớn làm gì cũng phải tính toán cả, ko phải lo chuyện thiếu người cho phát triển một tựa game mới đâu. Cầu trời là Diablo

chắc định spam, mà cái vụ này thì có liên can gì đến vụ nó up up mở mở game mới đâu mà các Ông cứ thất vọng Diablo :o:o:o

 

cách đây ko lâu thấy 1 cái SS + news của world of starcraft trên gamespot mới đau chứ
Blizz kín miệng , game gì làm cũng lâu nhưng toàn đỉnh

nhưng mà cái tin bản mới wow này mà ko fê à. hero class, items mới ( Y_Y chắc ko đến lượt mình ) lvl 80 - lại có thêm talent để óanh. Hé hé ! Xem phim trailer thấy có con k9 khủng quá, ko biết có hỗ trợ gì mới cho warlock ko nhẩy?
