Hỗ trợ Widescreen support, FMOD sound engine, Tunngle online gaming. Gameplay như các RTS khác, xây nhà, nâng cấp, mua ship các class, mở rộng base. Có 5 races: Federation, Klingon, Borg, Romulan và Dominion, mỗi race có đăc tính yếu mạnh riêng. Fed có công nghệ warp-in cho phép bạn gọi trợ giúp từ 1-3 ships mỗi 3 phút nếu còn slot trống, tàu phe Liên minh này tấn công thấp được cái shield trâu. Tàu chiến Klingon thiên về tấn công, nâng cấp cực kỳ tốn kém. Romulan đặc biệt ở cloak, nhưng sức chiến đấu giảm theo thời gian.
