(Released) 6.20 TN-B By Total Noob

That was faster than expected! pspgen.com released the new version of Total_Noob’s Hen for OFW 6.20. The main new feature is a bug fix for PSP3000 owners, this version should now work on all PSPs with a firmware 6.20 (no, this doesn’t work on 6.35 yet).



Another new feature is the possibility to downgrade your PSP. I want to insist on the fact that downgrading is a dangerous procedure. There is a huge risk of brick on newer PSP models, and I personally don’t see the point in downgrading a 6.20 PSP. You have been warned.

Total_Noob also added some major bug fixes, which should greatly improve homebrews and plugin compatibility. One of the fixes is courtesy of Hackman.

Total_Noob has, initially, this corrected the bug with the PSP 3000. It has also resolved several bugs and added new features.

Here is the complete list of changes:

Downgrading Using 6.20 TN-B Hen (Downgrade At Your Own Risk)



Warning!
Remember that all the firmwares are not supported by all models of PSP!
So do not try to install:
Below the 3.60 firmware on a PSP Slim (2000)
A firmware below 4.20 for the PSP 3000
Below the 5.70 firmware on a PSP GO

What you'll need to downgrade to firmware 5.03:

PSP (all models) equipped with firmware 6.20
Official firmware 6.20 (PSP GO)
Official firmware 6.20 (PSP non-GO)
The Half Byte Loader
The demo for Patapon 2
The modified backup of that demo
The NF-B 6.20
The application Psar New Dumper with firmware 5.00 eboot
The firmware 5.03

If you want to downgrade to another firmware:

PSP (all models) equipped with firmware 6.20
Official firmware 6.20 (PSP GO)
Official firmware 6.20 (PSP non-GO)

Applying New Psar Dumper eboot with a firmware lower than that to which you want to downgrade (the eboot should be placed at the root of the Memory Stick and must be named EBOOT.PBP)

Tutorial

* Go to Game> Memory Stick and select New Psar Dumper



* The main menu of the application appear. Press Square



* Several lines appear on the screen and show that the decryption has begun. Wait a few minutes

* Once finished, you return automatically to the XMB

* Pass your PSP in "USB mode" with the option "USB Connection"




* You will notice a new folder named F0 , made its appearance



* Go to that folder. Then open the folder vsh and finally the file etc. . You'll find a file named v ersion.txt . Copy it (Right Click> Copy)



* Go back to the root of your Memory Stick
* Go to the folder seplugins (create it if it does not exist) and paste the file version.txt (right click> Paste)
* Quit the "USB mode" on your PSP

* Press to display the TN VSH Menu

* A line Fake Index.dat , press Enabled appears



* Select Restart VSH to validate changes
* Now that your information is biased , go to Game> Memory Stick to start the update 5.03



* Once the update is complete, you will need to restart your console. A blue message will appear on the screen, press

Giờ 6.20 có cơ hội nhiều quá nhỉ, hồi trước cứ bảo là chơi game PSN ... Giờ lại cơ hội hack lung tung, anh em có 3k giờ thì cũng mong chờ vào tương lai sáng lạng rồi =)

Nhìn chung bản mới này fix 1 số lỗi của bản cũ.
Chính yếu là fix cái lỗi trên PSP 3000, bản này sẽ hoạt động được trên tất cả các đời PSP có FW 6.20.
Hỗ trở cả downgrade nữa nhưng độ nguy hiểm cao, không bảo đảm, ai thích liều thì cứ liều, chừng nào thành gạch thì đóng.

Mình vừa thử rồi. Khá ổn trên con psp3000. Lúc nó làm việc với F0 toát hết mồ hôi . Nhưng có điều lạ là trong system information vẫn ghi la 6.20 Tn-B. Trong khi chay update 5.03 thì nó lại bảo là version máy đã là 5.03
