FRM_Fan is in SG but the rest of us are in VN.
If you want to test the internet connection, please add "Kamikaze Ryu". Apparently, he has the most stable internet connection among us.
Also, while you are on it, please add my gamertag as well "Cr8zyK1LL3r". I play with RasberrySG from time to time. He's a solid boxer player and I believe he's in SG.

I just wanna play a few friendly matches not testing connection. U just need to test connection with Kamikazee Ryu because we will go to his place and fight with u guys when we decide the date.

We played with Kamikazee Ryu, The connection wasn’t too good. Hopefully the new place the connection will be better. Will add the other guy as well and then run the test again and hopefully we get good results!

While we are waiting for the connection test

we can talk about other things that you guys can discuss yourselves

1. format: 16 vs 16 team tournament is the biggest we can do. anything bigger is quite long and troublesome
2. Exhibition matches, We should do a exhibition match between the top players
3. 16 vs 16 player roster including the character they are using should be provide 2 weeks before the tournament. we set a time to exchange the roster at the same time so it will be fair.
4. player roster can also change due to commitments so its good include around 6 backups in the list
5. provide names, logos and player profiles to do videos and poster for promotion for the event.
6. We are streaming the event from our side. I am not sure if you guys are doing that. We want to promote and get people to tune into our stream. Starting on time is important.
7. Starting on time. We want to start on time. the last 16vs16 our sg players every one came on time, except Gackt who was 5 minutes late lol
our previous 16 vs 16 was delayed for over 2 hours. which is not good for the stream and the players.

 

Hi SGDreamCarnage,

1. SSF4 is not that popular in VN, so 16 players is too much for us to maintain the tournament quality. We have around 5-6 top players, 5-6 mid tier players and around 10+ casual fighter. So if its okay, I suggest we do an 8vs8 match.
2. Exhibition matches is always welcome.
3. Its okay. 2 weeks before battle, we will provide name of players and their character.
4. Its nice to have backup plan, and I think we must do it 1 week before the tournament. About the number, I think 3 is okay if we do 8 on 8.
5. You guys do the video part for both country?
6-7. ONTIME FTW. We should provide time and GMT too, so we will not miss it, lol. And we will not stream but record and upload later it because of internet speed limited.

BTW, Im just a casual fighter but I love the game, hope my ideas can help.

Rules and Tournament Format

List of the 8 players and their characters on each side will be announced at the same time.

Final player list of the 8 players playing will be set on the actual day at the start of the tournament

Final Players and their characters they choose have to be announced at the start of the tournament

Each Team can select any character and characters can be duplicated.

Each player plays a best of 3 rounds, and can pick any Ultra.

Each player that plays picks 1 character from the start (fixed and cannot change)

Everyone can go in what ever order they want (Pokemon style).

Winner for each game stays

Disconnects or major lag spikes will result in restarts unless there is a clear winner, if its not clear, we will talk over the phone to work it out.

Double KOs, at the end of the 3rd round. replay a best of 3 rounds.

Due to SGDreamCarnage doesn't reach post counts required to edit post, so I will put the rules and tournament format on the 1st post as well.

Anh em mau rút ra danh sách tham gia cuối cùng đi nào. Đến giờ mình vẫn chưa biết được Noobiex có đủ chuẩn đại diện cho VN hay không khi đang ở Sing ?

 

Theo em hiểu thì là 8 đánh với 8.Bên mình đưa ra list đi 8 người thì phải.

 

26/3 là còn ko đến 3 tuần, ko biết là 8vs8 hay 4vs4, ai sẽ tham gia được và các thông tin liên quan gì hết? Mọi người sẽ update chi tiết ở một topic khác hay là sao?
Hy vọng có một plan rõ ràng và cụ thể để những người quan tâm có thể theo dõi và đóng góp ý kiến.
