Được nhiều người khen ngợi là kiệt tác, bộ manga PLUTO dựa trên hồi "The Greatest Robot on Earth" trong Astro Boy năm 1964 của Tezuka Osamu, do Urasawa Naoki (20th Century Boys, Yawara!, Master Keaton) cùng cộng sự lâu năm Nagasaki Takashi đồng sáng tác. Loạt anime chính kịch căng thẳng này lấy bối cảnh ở thế giới tân vị lai, nơi con người và người máy chuyên dụng cùng chung sống vô cùng hòa hợp. Bộ manga được đánh giá cao trên toàn cầu và giành được nhiều giải thưởng, bao gồm cả Giải thưởng Văn hóa Tezuka Osamu. Trailer của series Dragon Ball Daima (Fall 2024) Today at this year’s New York Comic Con, Toei Animation announced that it is well into production on Dragon Ball Daima, a new series that will see a number of classic Dragon Ball Z characters like Goku, Vegeta, and Bulma transformed into children similar to the way Goku became a child in Dragon Ball GT. During a panel about the new show, executive producer Akio Iyoku described Toriyama as being “deeply involved beyond his usual capacity” in its production process and teased that he “has planned entirely new episodes for the storyline.”
