Violin, no idea. But you can replace pianos by keyboards. Though keyboard is much cheaper (even when compare with guitar)
I had an old question in mind for a long time and just emerged a couple minutes ago. That is how old is this keyboard instrument? It appears that it was born long ago, but I don't think people of old time owned the electric power to supply the keyboard.
electricity is older than keyboard. it's cool being able to play piano well, you can be so ambidextrous
Oh,it's kinda misunderstanding here :).What I meant is,guitar is more popular among the middle-class ppl and below. You can see easily that in VNese university dorm, students play guitar, not violin or piano, right One reason is because it's cheap and doesn't take long time to practice basic songs
Yeah, if it is solo guitar. The classic surely takes a lot of time to practice, though. :'> @nam4: you wouldn't say that if you know how much a cheapest violin or piano costs. Yet I agree with you that being able to play an instrument is far beyond great. Music is the most beautiful thing in the world.
Students want to play guitar because it looks cool, that's all. Btw, youngsters are active, and guitar can played many thrilling melodies. And most of people think about sad music when heard about violins.
I don't know, but everytime I think about a violin or a piano, the person who plays it must be in formal suit and looked rich ,and when I think about guitar,I'll see....students,you know
just your imagination ::) btw, wat r we talking about? I prefer no more debate about which instrument is for rich and which one is for poor ppl Let's talk more about music ::)
Last year I practiced guitar, and I can play a couple of songs,eg million million roses, kachiusa =),or some classical melodies that I don't remember the name
I play guitar. Not very much to say now, but I expect to be able to play half of the songs in Carulli's guidebook by this time next year. And you know, it seems any piano-girls I've met are beautiful and lovely. Just don't understand.
Carulli does bring about something I probably am having the same guidebook with you. never touch it though I-| fiy, one version of guitar Canon in D is one of the easiest pieces of music out there for guitar and probably the best of them all. ps: not canon rock. jerryc and funtwo, they're insanely talented but the rock version has lost the essence of the song >.>
Well, if you want to play classical guitar, you definitely need a teacher. Self-practice, I doubt that it will have any effect... By the way, I have real interest in Canon Rock of JerryC. It is a new taste for Canon. However, deeply in my heart, still like original classic versions. :p Did anyone hear a flute duet of Canon? Just fantastic.
Paying pianos make you look cool. But only when you sit in front of the piano. Guitars can make you cool as well, and it's mobiable (Is the word right?) so you can be cool everywhere (*3*)y-~
Yeah, you know most girls like a vagabond with a guitar in his arms playing a love song. They willingly fall for him and even happily give him a child. These guys, they take advantage of music. That's no good. ::(
Oh come on! I am considering what way I should go on... BTW, you say as if you have already granted wishes to some girls... Kids today...
