Davian Guard motto
The Davian Guard is the name of the Imperial Guard Regiments hailed from the semi-civilized, jungle covered world of Davia located in the Segmentum Ultima. The Davian Guard are despite being classed as cavalry regiment almost entirely differed from usual cavalry regiment like Attila Rough Rider. Instead of horses or similar mounts the Davian Guard ridded into battles on much larger beats called Nine Tusk, huge mammalian creature which resembles the ancient Terran Elephants. Beside the Davian Guard are also known for their seemingly archaic yet effective weapons including laslock or stubber.

The Davian Guard utilize a few type of doctrine depend on the battlefield they're fighting in. Overall the regiments tend to not mindlessly charge the enemy lines, instead sapper commando, light cavalry or in some case brave trooper will attempt to scout the enemy positions or engage in hit and run tactic, scouting in force is preferable. If the brave trooper and militant are available they will form the frontline and match toward the enemy
