Study English (được phép dùng tiếng Việt)

Ai cho mình hỏi khúc này. Tra 2 cái từ điển thì nó trái ngược nhau. Hair tra ở oxford thì nó cho là countable, có thể dùng a hair để chỉ 1 sợi tóc. Còn trong Macmillan thì nó nói là chỉ có dạng uncountable thui. Ai biết chỉ cái.
 
Theo tớ thì "hair" là uncountable.
Nếu cậu muốn nói "một sợi tóc" thì dùng "a strand of hair".:)
 
Cho mình hỏi từ vựng cái nha
1- Từ "cỏ lau" hoặc "hoa lau"
2- Từ "chong chóng"
 
Hair có thể dùng như countable noun, có nghĩa là sợi tóc.
Ex: There's a hair in my tea.

Còn dùng như uncountable noun thì có nghĩa là mái tóc.
Ex: My hair is black.

Ngoài lề: Hair còn có nghĩa là lông nữa (dùng cho người)! Feather thì dùng cho birds, còn fur dùng cho animals.
 
Ai đó tìm giúp mình mấy cái vd về phép ẩn dụ và hoán dụ trong tiếng Anh đi. Thank you.
 
Trình TA của mình hiện giờ chỉ tầm trung bình khá. Hiện mình đang quyết tâm dành 1 năm tới để học Eng hết sức mình. Mình ko có mục tiêu thi cử du học gì cả, chỉ muốn thành thạo giao tiếp có thể nghe hiểu tốt bởi mục đích chính là xem phim Mỹ và nếu có thể thì làm sub :D
Vậy cho mình hỏi liệu mình có phải cày ngữ pháp không hay nên học như thế nào ?
 
Tốt nhất là bạn nên tìm một trung tâm nào đó học cho nó chuẩn. Tự học thì khó lắm.
Nếu bạn muốn giao tiếp mà tự học thì có ai đâu mà nói chuyện.:D:D

Theo mình thì tự học là cách tốt nhất với ngữ pháp và viết. (Thực ra theo ý mình là chẳng có thứ gì là không tự học được hết, chẳng qua nó sẽ khó hơn thôi. Người ta nói tiếng Pháp khó nhưng vẫn đang tự học đều đều, ko sao cả.) Còn nói thì bạn phải học những mẫu câu chính và có đủ vốn từ vựng (từ vựng là cực kỳ quan trọng đấy nhé) sau đó bạn có thể dùng vốn từ và những mẫu câu đó diễn đạt nhữnh suy nghĩ của mình. Bạn có thể tìm thêm nhiều bạn bè để luyện tập thêm. Nghe thì nó liên quan đến rất nhiều yếu tố, đó có thể là khả năng khó nhất. Nhưng bạn cũng phải luyện nó như bao kỹ năng khác thôi. Có gì khó khăn hay tìm giáo trình, tài liệu thì bạn cứ post lên đây, mình sẽ giúp cho. Mình rành khoảng tìm sách và tài liệu trên mạng lắm. Bon chance - Good Luck.:D

Nghĩa đen: Tôi yêu cái dáng vẻ của anh như thể cao hơn tôi 10 feet vậy.
Nghĩa bóng: Theo như mình thấy thì cái cao ở đây không chỉ là chiều cao thông thường, nó còn ngụ ý nói đến sự kiêu hãnh, sự tự hào hoặc sự đáng tin cậy nữa.
 
hiện tại mình mất căn bản tiếng anh, muốn học lại nên hoc anh văn tổng quát hay học toeic
 
Anh văn tổng quát bạn ạ. Đồng ý là TOEIC cũng có trình độ thấp tới cao nhưng không có căn bản không học được đâu.
Bạn ráng học từ mấy lớp căn bản, nắm vững lại những kiến thức cơ bản trước đã.
 
mình định học xong anh văn A và B để lấy kiến thức cơ bản rồi khi nào vào đại hoc mới học TOEIC, như vậy có nên không?
 
Thực ra không nhất thiết phải quy định một thời điểm cụ thể. Cậu học bất cứ khi nào cảm thấy kiến thức mình đã nắm vững thì có thể đăng kí học các chương trình như TOELF, IELTS hay TOEIC. Nhưng cần nói trước là học mấy cái đó tốn tiền hơn nhiều so với Anh văn tổng quát đấy.

According to research, each day, there are 144 people waiting for organs to be donated, and approximately 20 people die because they do not have organs to transplant. These statistics show that every day people who waiting for organs is increase, because of not many people willing to donate organs. Think back to how someone might feel if one of their close friend or member family dies. It is horrible feeling. The purpose of this essay is to discuss should be mandatory organ transplants.

Firstly, organ selling in the black market has become an important issue in the world. Black market was created in some undeveloped countries; they do it such as their business. Most of the patients in the waiting list, they just want to get the organ as soon as possible. So, they are ready to pay money to get the organ that they need to transplant, and the organ comes from black market which is illegal market. So, if organ transplant is mandatory, the number of black market will be decrease.

Secondly, it may create great organic resources for surgeries. Since 1954, the first organ transplant successful, the organ will grow up as normal condition. Now, when the patients got the organ and transplants, they might not know where the organ comes from is, and that organ might not be healthy because it could be buy in black market, so that mean the patient will have “new” bad organ instead of “old” bad organ. So, if the donor gives their organs in the hospital, it will be test in many times. It is helpful for the patient.

In contrast, some opinions disagree, because it is against human rights to force people to do things against their will. They think that people should always have the right to choose, their body is theirs to do as they wish. Some people might feel uncomfortable when the government can automatically decide their bodies after they die. Furthermore, It is against equity and ethics, it is also immoral and inhuman to make living people give up their organs and to take away from deceased people.

Organ transplants offer patients a new change at healthy, and also give them a normal life and return them to their family. It gives hope to thousands of people with organ failure. When someone donates their organ, they might feel as though they have done the right thing. So, organ transplant should be mandatory for two reasons which are making a good use of resource and decreasing number of black market.

If we think about how someone might feel if one of their close friend or family member dies, we will realize that it is such a horrible feeling. Regarding this pressing matter, a question has been posed, which goes “Should organ donation be mandatory?” In my opinion, it should be.

Firstly, selling organs in black markets has become a noteworthy issue all over the world. Black markets have been created in some undeveloped countries for business purposes. Most patients are on waiting lists and they just want to get the necessary organs as soon as possible. Consequently, they are willing to pay any sum of money required to get the organs that are needed for transplantation. Most of those organs come from black markets, which are illegal ones. If organ donation is mandatory, there may be no need for people to rely on those markets anymore.

Secondly, should organ donation become mandatory, it may create great organic resources for surgeries. In 1954, the first organ transplant was successful and the transplanted organ performed normally afterwards. Nowadays, when patients get the awaited organs, they might not know anything about their origins nor might they know whether those organs are healthy or not, since there are chances that they were bought in black markets. If organ donation becomes compulsory, the processes of taking organs will have to be performed in hospitals. Donated organs will then be tested carefully and stored safely, which will become very trustworthy resources for transplantation.

Organ transplantation may help improve people’s bad health conditions, allowing them to return to their beloved families and lead normal lives afterwards. It may give hopes to millions of people with organ failures. In order for this wonderful prospect to become reality, there have to be enough organs for transplantation. That is the reason why
organ donation should be mandatory.
